Founder and President of Peachtree Senior Living, Sonya Sohi, also owner/operator of Le Pavillon and Mapleview Retirement Residence has been enriching the lives of seniors with a caring heart since 2002.

Sonya began her career in the seniors sector in the family business as Vice President of Operations growing the portfolio to 8 retirement residences across Ontario in 10 years.

In 2013 she was Director of Operations at Sunrise Senior Living overseeing 9 retirement communities across Ontario.

After leaving Sunrise, she went on to ‘plant’ Peachtree Senior Living Inc. and acquired 2 retirement residences across Ontario. It was her calling from the very beginning. To enrich the lives of all seniors with her serving heart. This has become the guiding principle for all staff in every interaction with their residents each and every day.

  • Domiciliary Hostel Standards Working Group committee, Regional Municipality of Waterloo
  • Founder, “Eyes of Humanity” initiative to providing eyeglasses to the needy in India
